Cooperation Between JRI and Iranian Rights and Law Research Institute

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Rights and Law Research Institute and Judiciary Research Institute was held on Wednesday, 6th of Ordibehesht.

Hojjatul-Islam, Dr. Mehdi Hadi, in this ceremony, expressed the importance of increasing the legal knowledge of citizens in the society and said: One of the problems is that we do not have training courses or content production for different classes. Compiling comprehensible, simple and up-to-date legal texts for people can help solve the problem of the judicial system, that is the volume of incoming cases.

Mohammad Darvishzadeh, the head of Iranian Rights and Law Research Institute, also pointed out the capacities available in this center and stated: Our institute has four research groups: legal encyclopedia studies, studies on theorizing and legal innovation, studies on the social impact of laws and additional law studies was established in 2013 with the aim of responding to some of the country’s research needs, and with the presence of lawyers who have been active in the field of citizenship rights for many years, it can cooperate with JRI in producing content and organizing specialized meetings.

Launching and developing the project “WikiLaw” by registering more than 11,000 short legal articles, publishing two specialized magazines and designing specialized software for rights and law are among the actions of Rights and Law Research Institute in the field of identifying and implementing practical and development projects.
